Our skippers are French and English speaking.
Serious, experienced and passionate about sailing, they know the sea and the Greek islands perfectly. They will make sure that your trip will be relaxing and carefree. Attentive to your expectations, your well-being and the harmony on board, they will guide you to the best beaches, coves and ports according to the weather. They are also responsible for the boat and your safety and they will adapt the navigation to the constraints of the Greek islands (weather, place in ports, supplies…). Renting a sailboat with a skipper is the guarantee of a successful vacation.
Bertrand arrived from Belgium on his sailboat. While sailing through the Greek islands, he quickly felt the desire to settle down in this warm and sea-facing country. He lives in the islands, happy with this choice which brought him many other beautiful surprises. Fine technician, passionate, Bertrand is a sailor respecting the elements to better tame them. Bertrand likes to sail safely but does not disdain to face the whims of the wind with phlegm and determination.

Pascal is an experienced skipper and a competitor at heart with dozens of races under his belt. Don’t ask him to stay in an office; it’s just not possible! And it would be a waste: a sailor like him, a skipper of his temperament and experience should be on a sailboat sharing his good mood, his passion for the sea, sailing and gliding! Pascal is one of the lovers of the Yachting spirit: courteous, hospitable, passionate, with a little bit of madness that makes his cruises always unique moments.

Alexandre is a freshly graduated student, he has the enthusiasm and carefree spirit of his youth but knows how to remain attentive and listen to the advice of his elders. His passion for travel and sailing has given him a lot of experience for a young skipper. His good humor and his energy will make you spend unforgettable holidays.

The role of the Skippers
At sea
The skippers are the captains of the boat. They take care of the navigation and maneuvers. Are responsible for the safety of boats and passengers. Adapt the program to the wind conditions and the level of the passengers, making sure to offer a personalized cruise.
The skipper is passionate about sailing. He can initiate you or improve you in certain maneuvers. Don’t hesitate to ask him to let you take the helm or to do some maneuvers.
In any case, a help from you will be welcome, especially in some crucial cases: anchoring, hoisting or lowering sails, … preparing the aperitif!

On land
They will advise you on how best to enjoy your stopovers in the islands. He knows the best addresses where you can discover a tasty and varied gastronomy, will help you with your transportation, and will advise you on your activities on land and the visits not to be missed….
Throughout the cruise, the skipper’s role is to ensure harmony on board. To do this, he/she watches over and may invite the passengers to participate in the tidying up of the boat, the cleanliness of the common areas and the preparations for the sea trip.
It ensures that an optimum level of drinking water, electricity and supplies is constantly maintained. It will always push you to keep an autonomy as long as possible that will allow you to enjoy the wild places.
Keep in mind
A sailboat rental remains an adventure and a program elaborated on land can be modified at sea at the last moment (weather, technical problems, passengers’ fatigue…). And that, sometimes, the sailing conditions can be rough with the meltem…
Your skipper will share the good times but will also be discreet on all occasions… Life on board is an apprenticeship; respecting the rules of propriety is an essential prerequisite for fostering enriching relationships.
Between the reservation and the beginning of the cruise: no surprise on either side. Call your skipper and tell him/her about your desires, your constraints and the state of mind in which you approach this cruise.
